Job Summary
Ensure safety of program volunteers at agency locations, community volunteer jobs, and hub sites while transporting them to and from program sites. Train volunteers to perform functional job tasks and act as a liaison between volunteer job site staff and program volunteers. Prompt appropriate peer interactions and report success, satisfaction, or concerns to the Site Manager. Appropriately complete required documentation and enforce agency philosophies including the guiding principles/POM and CQL. Monitor mandatory training attendance and sustain certifications such as CPR, SCIP, and AMAP.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
