Job Summary
Ensure safety of program volunteers at agency locations, community volunteer jobs, and hub sites while transporting them to and from program sites. Train volunteers on functional tasks, act as liaison between job site staff and participants, and prompt appropriate peer interactions. Report incidents, success, and satisfaction to Site Managers; appropriately complete all required documentation. Monitor mandatory training attendance, maintain certifications like CPR and SCIP, and enforce agency philosophies including POM and CQL.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
