Job Summary
Ensure safety of program volunteers at primary sites, community volunteer jobs, and hub locations. Train volunteers to perform functional tasks and act as second staff support during transport. Serve as liaison between job site staff and volunteers while prompting appropriate peer interactions. Report incidents, success, and concerns to the Site Manager and complete all required documentation. Monitor mandatory training attendance and sustain certifications such as CPR, SCIP, and AMAP. Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
