Job Summary
Ensure safety of program volunteers at agency locations, community volunteer jobs, and hub sites. Train volunteers to perform functional tasks and act as second staff support transporting them to and from program sites. Serve as liaison between volunteer job site staff and program volunteers, prompting appropriate peer interactions. Report incidents, success, and satisfaction to the Site Manager and complete all required documentation. Monitor mandatory training attendance and sustain certifications like CPR and SCIP. Enforce agency philosophies and guiding principles across all sites. Perform additional duties as requested by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid NYS Driver License
Desired Qualifications
- AMAP/First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred
