Job Summary
Assist Deaf and/or Deaf-Blind Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities with home-based personal care, cleaning, cooking, laundry, and medication administration. Provide frequent overnight monitoring and complete additional cleaning duties as assigned. Execute tasks outlined in the annual Individual Plan (IP) meeting. Maintain excellent time management and a respectful, patient attitude while holding a valid MD driver's license with two points or less. Fluently use American Sign Language. Complete an annual physical and flu vaccination. Work Saturday and/or Sunday shifts ranging from six to fourteen hours, Monday through Friday or weekends, in-person.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid MD Driver's License with 2 points or less
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Annual physical
- Annual flu vaccination
- Saturday and/or Sunday Shifts: 9a-3p, 9a-5p, 3p-11p, or 9a-11p
- High school or equivalent
- American Sign Language
- Driver's License
