Job Summary
Review and implement Individualized Plans and Behavior Support Plans while providing hands-on support for activities of daily living, including cleaning, meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene. Monitor the physical and emotional health of individuals served and maintain open communication with supervisors and stakeholders. Submit all required documentation by deadlines and attend mandatory trainings including CPI, CPR, First Aid, and ABA principles. Transport individuals during scheduled hours while adhering to staffing rotations and operational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Evening and weekend availability
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Dependable transportation with fully functioning heat/air conditioning and fully functioning seatbelts
- Ability to pass all required federal, state and agency required background checks
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required training, including but not limited to, CPI Association requirements for physical intervention, CPR, First Aid Training, Medication Administration, ABA principals and implementation techniques in accordance with CSS policy
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a repeated basis
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist repeatedly
- Ability to operate any required equipment with good dexterity
- Ability to traverse changing terrain
- Ability to periodically alternate between standing, sitting, and walking
