Job Summary
Provide care and assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Woodsway Group Home setting. Responsibilities include monitoring and supervising safety and well-being, assisting with activities of daily living (eating, cleaning, hygiene), facilitating basic housekeeping, noting progress for the program manager, and transporting individuals to community outings. Requires a High School Diploma/GED, a valid Georgia driver's license, strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and with others, and experience with Microsoft 365. Preference for previous experience as a personal care assistant or CNA. CSB of Middle Georgia will not sponsor employment authorization for this position. Shift options include rotating days (8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am). Final pay rate depends on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly
