Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional provides person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Somerset, NJ. Responsibilities include direct care, assisting with daily routines (including cleaning, cooking, feeding), medication administration, monitoring health and medical needs, supporting development of independent and community-based skills, participating in community, social, and recreational activities, transporting to medical appointments and activities, ensuring timely and accurate program documentation and billable records, and building a support network with community members, businesses, and families. Additional duties may be assigned. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Employment is contingent upon background checks and drug testing.
