Job Summary
Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily routines, monitoring health needs, and administering medication. Drive individuals to medical appointments and community activities while building support networks with families and local businesses. Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely. Work 4 PM to 12 AM shifts with a starting pay of $17.75 per hour. Valid driver's license and two years of IDD field experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years' experience in the IDD field
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
