Direct Support Professional - Community Habilitation

Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) role focused on Community Habilitation to help people supported build independent, meaningful lives. Responsibilities include one-on-one support, teaching daily living skills (e.g., meal preparation), accompanying to medical appointments, budgeting assistance, decluttering and organizing living spaces, and arranging activities to promote community engagement (zoos, festivals, movies, performances, and events). Schedule is Monday–Friday, typically 8 am–4 pm, 20–25 hours per week in Penn Yan, NY. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field; valid driver’s license.
