Job Summary
Train, support, and monitor clients in community and vocational settings. Participate in developing circles of support to build relationships with families, friends, neighbors, and the broader community. Develop individualized adaptive support materials and expand clients' participation in integrated employment activities. Assist with developing and implementing clients' annual plans, goals, and objectives, including participation in Individualized Program Plan (IPP) meetings. Provide same-day shift coverage as requested by supervisors. This role empowers adults with developmental disabilities to live, work, and participate independently within their community in San Diego.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years driving experience
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year working in social services, education, or with the developmentally disabled population preferred
