Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Salem, Oregon to provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with daily living activities (cooking, personal care, hygiene, household tasks), supporting community outings and activities, encouraging independence and skill development, administering medications and completing documentation accurately, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment, and advocating for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people supported. Requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to pass a national background check, ability to become an approved company driver, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Paid training provided; multiple part-time schedules available.
