Direct Support Professional (CLS)

Provide ongoing guidance and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring active participation in self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, and socialization. Assist with medication administration, meal preparation, and transportation to medical appointments, shopping, and recreational outings. Implement and document treatment plans, including residential habilitation goals and communication logs, while adhering to agency policies and inter-disciplinary team meetings. Mentor new staff by demonstrating supportive routines and reviewing training manuals. Maintain certification and training expectations, ensuring a safe and clean home environment for all residents.
