Job Summary
Maintain consistent engagement with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to support self-advocacy, social connections, and community inclusion. Provide person-centered supports including personal hygiene, medication administration, and transportation, while utilizing Positive Support Programs to guide daily interactions. Create safe environments, document support provided at the end of each shift, and intervene in aggressive situations or assist with physical tasks like wheelchair transfers. Work independently to help individuals achieve their hopes and dreams through planned activities and habilitation. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and completion of Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services and criminal background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry check
- Criminal background check
- Must be able to lift individuals to and from wheelchairs
- Must be able to intervene in aggressive situations
- Must be able to support a person to and from a shower
- Must be able to use a gait belt in a safe and dignified way
- Must be able to provide transportation for the people we support
- Must be able to provide accurate documentation for the support provided during every shift
- Must be able to provide support with personal hygiene and medical-related needs, including medication administration
- Must be able to provide transportation for those you are supporting
- Must be able to provide documentation at the end of each shift

- Must be able to work Monday through Friday: 7am-5pm
- Must be able to work Residential Hours of Operation: Evenings: 3pm-10pm, Overnights: 10pm-8:30am, and Days Sat/Sun: 8am-3pm
