Direct Support Professional - Central, NE

Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings by maintaining consistent engagement, fostering independence, and creating safe environments. Provide person-centered supports including assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, and transportation, while utilizing Positive Support Programs to guide daily interactions. Encourage self-advocacy, social connections, and participation in recreational groups to meet individual needs. Deliver accurate shift documentation and intervene in physically demanding situations as required. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and completion of background checks. Schedule includes weekdays 7am-5pm, evenings 3pm-10pm, overnight shifts, and weekend days 8am-3pm.
