Job Summary
Direct Support Professional / Caregiver role in Morristown, NJ. Provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently. Responsibilities include building positive relationships, assisting with meals, hygiene, and household tasks, supporting participation in employment and social activities, using adaptive tools to aid learning and communication, promoting independence, monitoring health and safety, communicating with the care team and families, and completing documentation and ongoing training. The position offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for advancement within a mission-driven organization serving NJ clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver�s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
- Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
- Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required � we provide paid training and support
- Pay & Signing Bonus
- Starting Pay: $23/hour for non-acuity; $33/hour for acuity
- $1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
