Job Summary
Provide hands-on support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living like meal preparation and hygiene. Build positive relationships to help clients achieve personal goals while encouraging independence and facilitating community participation. Use adaptive tools for communication, monitor health and safety, and complete documentation and ongoing training. Maintain schedules and communicate with families, case managers, and team members. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to address personal care needs. Starting pay is $23/hour for non-acuity or $33/hour for acuity, with a $1,000 signing bonus. Abound Health offers flexible full-time and part-time schedules, weekly pay, and paid onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
