Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver Float, you will provide essential direct care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a flexible, full-time role across various residential homes. This position emphasizes dependability, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules and environments.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of DSP/Caregiving experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is required.
- Must have valid driver's license & vehicle to travel between programs and provide transportation to clients
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (day/swing shift and weekend availability required)
- Must be able and willing to learn different supports, from medical to behavioral
- Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to provide references
- 18 years of age or older (required)
