Direct Support Professional / Caregiver

Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct support, hands-on instruction, and positive guidance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a safe, goal-oriented environment. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating), medication administration following medical protocols, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, mobility and transfer assistance (including use of mechanical lift devices), implementing positive behavior supports, de-escalation as needed, and performing other duties to enrich residents' health, safety, and independence.
