Job Summary
Direct Support Professional provides hands-on, compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, following individualized care plans, documenting progress, and assisting with personal care (dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing) and daily living activities. Responsibilities include administering medications per policy, maintaining a safe environment, utilizing behavior support techniques, encouraging community engagement, and potentially traveling to support from Residential to Day programs. Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving history. This role is full-time, with schedules including Sun-Wed 7a-7p at the Reisterstown, MD location. Required Qualifications
