Job Summary
Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral health needs, assisting them in achieving personal goals and improving quality of life. Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring all care aligns with industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment while applying crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and positive behavioral support approaches. Work independently and as part of a team to deliver compassionate, professional care. Requires 16 hours weekly on Sunday/Monday from 8am-4pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license with at least one year of driving experience
- Must be available to attend the 3 week hourly paid-training program during the hours of 8am-5pm
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with dual diagnosis
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Working experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support approaches
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
