Job Summary
Provide direct support to individuals with behavioral health needs, assisting them in achieving personal goals and improving quality of life. Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans while maintaining accurate documentation of client progress and treatment. Ensure all care aligns with industry standards and best practices. Requires minimum of one year experience with dual diagnosis or developmental disabilities, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Must attend 3-week hourly paid training from 8am-5pm. Schedule includes Sunday and Friday shifts from 8am-4pm for 16 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license with at least one year of driving experience
- Must be available to attend the 3 week hourly paid-training program during the hours of 8am-5pm
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with dual diagnosis
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Working experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support approaches
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
