Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Beacon Specialized Living provides person-centered daily support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills and personal care, supporting community engagement and recreational activities, meal preparation and maintaining a clean home, transporting individuals to appointments and activities, administering medications with training, maintaining accurate documentation, and advocating for those served while promoting dignity and independence in a safe, supportive environment. Requires compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented individuals with strong communication skills, willingness to learn, at least 18 years old, and a GED or high school diploma; valid driver’s license is required.
