Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assist adults with daily living skills, personal care, meal preparation, transportation to appointments and activities, and support for community engagement in a safe, supportive home environment. Training is provided for administering medications, documentation, and person-centered support, with opportunities for advancement through Beacon’s LEAP program and NADSP certification. This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, teamwork, and strong communication to help individuals live independent, meaningful lives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- GED or High School Diploma
- Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
