Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Freehold, NJ. Provide daily living assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism in a safe, supportive environment. Duties include assisting with daily living skills and personal care, supporting community engagement and recreational activities, meal preparation and housekeeping, transporting individuals to appointments and activities, administering medications as directed (training provided), maintaining accurate documentation, and advocating for the individuals served. Training and LEAP Program opportunities offered for professional development and NADSP certification. Requires a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach with good communication. Flexible schedules available including full-time, part-time, and on-call opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- GED or High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license
