Job Summary
Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data while assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and money management. Provide personal care and supervision to support life growth, teaching functional skills to help individuals achieve personal goals and transition to less restrictive settings. Accompany residents to healthcare appointments and community outings, resolving problem behavior situations using approved crisis techniques. Complete required paperwork and maintain effective communication with families and guardians. This role requires weekend availability from Saturday 9a-9p and Sunday 3p-11p, a valid driver's license with one year of experience, and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License in the candidates' legal name and current address
- One year minimum driving experience
- License should be in good standing and free of restrictions
- Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Saturday, 9a-9p
- Sunday, 3p-11p
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications
- Aspiration to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
