Job Summary
Conduct behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data while assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and money management. Provide personal care and supervision, teaching functional skills to help individuals achieve personal goals and transition to less restrictive settings. Accompany residents to healthcare appointments and community outings, resolving problem behavior situations using approved crisis techniques. Complete required paperwork, maintain effective communication with families and guardians, and ensure safety while adhering to Bancroft's quality standards. This role requires flexible hours with a minimum of 40 hours per month, a valid driver's license with one year of experience, and a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License in the candidates' legal name and current address. One year minimum driving experience. License should be in good standing and free of restrictions.
- Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Aspiration to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- MUST work AT LEAST 40 hrs per month
- Location: Voorhees, NJ
