Job Summary
Conduct behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Provide assistance with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and money management while teaching functional skills. Accompany residents to healthcare appointments and community outings, resolving problem behaviors using approved crisis techniques. Complete required paperwork, maintain effective communication with families, and adhere to Bancroft's safety standards. Work full-time shifts from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License in the candidates' legal name and current address
- One year minimum driving experience
- License should be in good standing and free of restrictions
- Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for evening shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- Aspiration to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
