Job Summary
Direct Support Professional responsible for hands-on personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and daily living activities; following individualized care plans and documenting progress; administering medications per policy; maintaining a safe, clean environment; applying behavior support techniques; and promoting community engagement. Travel between Residential and Day programs may be required. Requires HS diploma or GED; driving privilege; ability to lift 50+ lbs; willingness to be trained; and a collaborative, respectful approach to care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with driving-record requirements as stated
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs
