Job Summary
Outline and prepare daily routines for clients based on Individual Program Plans. Assist clients with bathroom needs, change clothing if necessary, and prepare daily meals with clean-up. Transport clients to and from their homes or facilities using company vans. Obtain the Direct Support Professional Certificate and RBT within the first year of employment. Maintain a California Driver's License and pass background checks. Lift up to 30 lbs and work in all weather conditions. Full-time role in Bakersfield, CA with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2
- RBT certification
- First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- California Driver's License
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be available for AM/PM shifts
- Must obtain DSP certificate within first 12 months of Hire
- Must obtain RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check
