Job Summary
Deliver quality one-on-one services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home or community settings, focusing on activities of daily living, life skills training, and promoting independence. Implement strategies to assist clients in achieving outcomes outlined in their Individual Support Plan while ensuring their health, safety, and emotional well-being. Complete daily documentation including EVV and service notes, immediately report changes in condition to the manager, and adhere to all state regulations, confidentiality standards, and professional boundaries. Assist the interdisciplinary team in developing and maintaining support plans, actively search for community opportunities based on client interests, and maintain appropriate interactions while respecting civil and human rights.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Active driver's license, current automobile insurance, current car registration and current car inspection if transporting
- Must be 18 or older
- Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance
- FBI clearance required for individuals who do not meet PA residency requirements
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
- Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
- Must be able to always adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries
- Ability to recognize incidents and report them
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

- Required vaccinations and testing, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons
