Job Summary
Plan, arrange, and lead activities promoting self-sufficiency, social skills, and relaxation while transporting participants into the community. Provide dignified assistance with Activities of Daily Living including feeding, toileting, dressing, and continence care, and manage safe medication administration during day training hours. Act as an advocate for participants' welfare by attending team meetings, addressing family concerns, and completing required regulatory paperwork such as monthly service summaries. Maintain detailed daily documentation and adhere to all background check and agency training requirements. Work 7:30 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 4:30 pm in a vibrant Day Training facility focused on building life skills and community connection.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma/GED, OR be at least 21 years old
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to accurately follow oral/written instructions
- Ability to keep detailed daily documentation
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Active car insurance
- Physical ability to actively participate in and demonstrate daily activities
- Ability to meet all standard background check, personnel, and agency training requirements
