Job Summary
Outline and prepare daily routines for clients based on Individual Program Plans. Support residents' goals by participating in IPP/ISP development, assisting with personal care, grooming, and meal preparation. Maintain a clean, safe environment while facilitating social activities, family visits, and leisure pursuits. Transport clients to and from homes or facilities using company vans. Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators. Maintain a clean, safe environment while facilitating social activities, family visits, and leisure pursuits. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of professional or personal experience in caregiving
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- California Driver's License
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors
- Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Willing to obtain Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 within the first 6 months of hire
- Willing to obtain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within the first 6 months of hire
- First Aid / CPR
- Willing to obtain First Aid / CPR within 30 days of employment
