Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and skill-building support. Encourage social engagement by facilitating activities such as shopping, park visits, and community events. Follow individualized support plans and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and health-related incidents. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling ranging from 10–25 hours per week with evening and weekend options available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and community activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and preferences
- Willingness to assist with personal care and follow detailed support plans
- Must be available for evening and weekend options
- Typical schedules range from 10–25 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
