Job Summary
Provide daily assistance to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in residential settings, following established person-centered service plans. Support participants with developmental goals including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while motivating them to engage in community activities. Conduct weekly food inventories, maintain care records, and document provided services. Accompany clients to appointments and outings, using a personal vehicle as needed for transportation. Assist with mobility, moderate to heavy lifting, and socialization activities. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and co-workers while organizing work schedules effectively.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience
- Current Driver License, and vehicle insurance
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a TB Skin Test & Drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification ( preferred)
- Certified Nurse Aid or Home Health Aid (preferred)
- Two (2) year working with development disability (preferred)
