Job Summary
Support daily routines including cooking, cleaning, and personal care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist clients with community involvement, safety skills, and emotional regulation while following personalized care plans. Communicate with families and complete documentation to ensure client well-being. Work flexible weekend shifts between Thursday evening and Sunday evening for clients in Albany. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Smartphone required
- Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements
- CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
- Must be able to work at least one weekend shift regularly
- Must be able to work between Thursday evening to Sunday evening
