Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility while providing behavioral supports in residential homes, day programs, or community settings. Maintain verbal and written communication skills and complete required training and renewals as assigned. Ensure reliable transportation to work sites and for transporting people, or drive an approved RISE vehicle if holding a valid license and acceptable driving record. Submit annual background clearance applications through the Office of Licensing. Work flexible schedules at competitive hourly rates with on-site human service experience.
Required Qualifications
- verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
- at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Approved Background Clearance Application, through the Office of Licensing annually
- Specific language abilities (other than English)
- Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable
- Access to a telephone
- ability to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned
- valid Driver's License
- acceptable Driving Record
- current auto insurance that meet minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies
