Job Summary
Provide high-quality personal care, including assistance with medications, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and cleaning. Transport individuals on home visits, trips, and errands while driving with a valid license and two years of experience. Monitor and track vital signs, weight, mood, and sleep, responding to health concerns as assigned by a nurse. Learn and follow Behavior Support Plans to help adults build skills and lead self-determined lives. Communicate professionally with families, community members, and medical professionals. Work at least 18 years old with strong social skills and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Complete a paid two-week training program and adhere to the SEIU Local 503 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Great social skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50 pounds
- Knows basic cooking skills
- Knows basic cleaning skills
- Licensed driver with at least two years' driving experience
- Willing to be flexible and learn new skills
Desired Qualifications
- Preference for applicants who can work at least one weekend day
