Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (Adults) provides high-quality, person-centered care to adults with disabilities in group-home settings. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene, and cleaning; supporting skill-building and community participation; protecting the rights of people served; assisting with transportation and home visits; communicating with families, community members, medical professionals, and other staff; learning and following Behavior Support Plans; performing nursing tasks as trained by a nurse; monitoring health indicators (vital signs, weight, sleep, mood); and supporting coverage at multiple group homes as needed. Requires a licensed driver with at least two years of driving experience, ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds, and flexibility to work weekend shifts.
