Job Summary
Coordinate active treatment in Adult Foster Care or Community Living Services homes, assisting clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health, and personal care. Provide direct support to individuals with physical, cognitive, and/or behavioral disabilities while maintaining on-site coordination. Complete required training including CPR/FA certification and undergo comprehensive background checks, medical clearance, and Michigan Long-term Care screening. Maintain a valid Michigan Driver's License and reliable transportation. This non-profit organization offers advancement opportunities and paid training for compassionate professionals serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance
- Valid Michigan Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record
- Reliable and ongoing transportation
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and clearance through Michigan Long-term Care (MILTC) screening
