Job Summary
Assist program participants with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, and medication management. Drive clients to community activities such as recreation, volunteer work, and tours while supporting their interests and preferences. Implement Individual Service and Support Plans, document progress, and facilitate goal-oriented activities that promote independence and social interaction. Address challenging behaviors and resolve conflicts while adhering to trauma-informed care principles. Maintain a safe, clean environment and push wheelchairs as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:30. Join a team focused on fostering daily living, social, and domestic skills for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Clean background checks
- Must be 21 years of age at time of hire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Normal range of vision and hearing
- Emotional stability and personal maturity
- Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure
- Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of program participants with challenging behaviors
- Must be willing to participate in ALL community activities with our clients
- Must be willing and able to drive regularly as part of job responsibilities
Desired Qualifications

- Compassion, creativity, adaptability, and ability to handle challenging situations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- commitment to fostering independence
- Must have at least five (5) years of valid driving experience
