Direct Support Professional - 3rd Shift

Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional providing overnight support for female residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll remain awake and attentive, monitor safety and health during the night, assist with toileting, mobility, daily care, and respond to nighttime needs. Responsibilities include visual checks and documentation (T-Logs, GERs, safety notes), maintaining a calm, clean, and safe overnight environment, assisting morning routines (hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility, breakfast), supporting transitions to daytime schedules, administering medications as trained, responding to medical or safety concerns, and coordinating transportation as needed. Training provided for CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, PMT, and more. Requirements: high school diploma or GED; age 21+ with a valid CT driver’s license; ability to complete background checks, physical exam, and drug screening; ability to complete required state-mandated and agency training. They will work in Litchfield, CT locations (group home settings) on the Awake Overnight shift, with a focus on safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
