Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities. This role involves offering daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living, managing needs within a residential program and in community settings. Candidates are expected to provide enhanced supervision or interventions tailored to diverse disabilities, complete required documentation, maintain certifications, and develop relationships with families and stakeholders. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to drive a 12-passenger van are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5+ years of verified experience in the same position
