Job Summary
Work directly with vulnerable adults living with mental illnesses, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being at all times. Assist persons served with active treatment services, daily living skills, medication administration, and continued development while reflecting values of respect, honesty, patience, and compassion. Support the Designated Coordinator with scheduling, payroll, documentation review, and task delegation. Manage transportation, service documentation, care plan implementation, and stakeholder interactions. Maintain de-escalation and redirection skills and be physically capable of lifting, transfers, and emergency interventions. Requires a valid driver's license, DHS background check, and one year of group home or client care experience.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a DHS background and Motor Vehicle Records check
- 1+ years of experience in a group home, DSP, or client care role
- 1+ years of experience in de-escalation/redirection skills
- Must be physically able to perform all job duties, including lifting, transfers, and emergency interventions
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
