Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional will support individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in daily living activities, providing supervision, skills training, and assistance in a home environment and the community. Responsibilities include creating opportunities for skill development, maintaining documentation as per regulatory standards, administering medications, and complying with safety and training protocols. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, effective communication and organizational skills, and the ability to drive a large van. The position works a Sunday - Thursday schedule, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or at least 5+ years of verified experience in the same position
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred
