Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional 2 will assist individuals with disabilities in residential programs by providing daily intervention and supervision in activities of daily living. Responsibilities include skills training, transportation, medication administration, and maintaining required documentation. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational skills, and possess a valid driver's license. Specialized training will be provided. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to those with relevant experience or certifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or DSP Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Requires acceptable CORI results according to Bridgewell policy
