Job Summary
Direct Support Professional to implement and reinforce therapeutic treatment plans for clients experiencing mental health crises; responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, supervising schedules including therapy/appointments, leading or assisting group sessions, developing behavior plans, ensuring client safety and confidentiality, collaborating with families, and performing front desk/admin tasks. Requires driving, background check, and engaging with diverse populations; Bachelor’s degree preferred and 21+ years old. 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm, Rochester, MN; $21/hour; 40 hours/week; onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Mental Health Practitioner criteria per MN Statutes 245.462, subdivision 17
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (human services)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass DHS criminal background check
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities
- Open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities
