Job Summary
Assist individuals with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility transfers. Administer medications as directed, support clients with medical appointments, and implement behavioral strategies to promote independence. Plan recreational and social activities, advocate for client rights, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems. Collaborate with healthcare providers and therapists to ensure holistic care. Requires a high school diploma, fluent English, and a valid New York State driver's license with two years of experience operating a large vehicle. Full-time Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM with competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency diploma
- Fluent in English for client communication
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Comfort operating a large vehicle
