Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in a residential program. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, skills training, medical and clinical needs, and documentation associated with regulatory standards. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, organizational skills, and be computer literate. Physical assistance and the ability to drive a large van are key requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of verified experience in a similar position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities
- Specialized certifications in areas such as PABC or ABA techniques
- Advanced training in areas such as autism, behavioral support, and healthcare
Additional Requirements
- Valid US driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience in the United States
- Acceptable CORI results according to Bridgewell policy
