Job Summary
Direct Support Lead: Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while delivering direct services to individuals served. Attend trainings for individuals served to ensure objectives and company goals are met; participate in community outings; oversee house orientation for new employees; assist with house staffing and staff recruitment; review individuals served progress and coordinate shift objectives. Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management according to the Individual Plan (IP) and/or treatment team. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, two years’ experience in direct services in human services, a valid driver’s license with active registration and insurance, CPR/First Aid certification, strong leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a compassionate, quality-focused approach. Work schedules include Full-Time with afternoons/evenings in Brandon, FL; benefits package and opportunities for advancement are noted within the posting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ experience in providing direct services in the human services field
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
